File Open
Displays the File Open dialog box. You can use standard Windows techniques to
load multiple files.
Start
Polling
Starts polling for live data. This item is disabled
when polling is started.
Stop
Polling
Stops polling for live data. This item is disabled
when polling is stopped.
Animation buffer navigation
These buttons control the current frame in the animation buffer. As shown,
the current frame is set to show the latest product data. The play button loops
through the buffer and becomes a pause button. The other buttons single-step
forward and backward through the buffer or jump to the first frame/last frame.
Mouse mode
These buttons set the mouse mode. The mouse cursor changes to indicate the
current mode. The magnifying glass selects Zoom Mode. Position
the mouse cursor in the radar display to the center of the area you want to zoom then left
click and drag outwards to select the zoom area. Release the mouse button to
complete the operation. To cancel a zoom operation in progress, press the Esc
key while holding the mouse button down. The quad arrow button selects Pan mode. Left-click in radar display and move the mouse to
slide
the radar image in any direction. The diagonal line selects Cross-Section mode.
Left-click on the first point in the cross-section line and drag out to complete
the cross-section line. When the mouse button is released, the Cross-Section
window will appear. The wireframe cube selects Volume mode. Left-click in the
center of the area of interest and drag outwards to select a square volume
sampling area. The Volume display window will appear.
Zoom in, zoom out, zoom none
These buttons perform a single-click zoom in, zoom out, and zoom none
command. The center of the radar display is used for zoom in and out. Zoom none
centers the display on the radar site and sets the viewing radius to the
maximum.
Set Storm Motion Vector
Displays the Set Storm Motion Vector dialog box:
Enter the azimuth and speed for the overall storm motion. Click on Apply to see the changes immediately or OK to set the changes and exit the dialog box.
